This Summer we wanted to send out something to our city that introduced the story of our church as well as gave our neighbors something beautiful to hang onto. Through the work of one of our incredible photographers here at Red Door and one of our amazing designers we were able to put together one amazing printed piece that we will now be handing out next week door to door.
This is a very fun and creative way to meet our city and we are hoping we can bring just a glimpse of heaven to earth through these cards. I will follow up back here with more photos of the actual packets and the creative packaging we have on the way for these cards.
Here is the letter we wrote on the back of the first card if you wanted to know what it said…
For a long time, the Red Door has served as a sign of hope to any traveler who was lost, wearied, and in need of rescue. The door stood as a symbol to all that within these walls is a place of safety, refuge, and protection.
And while this is what the Red Door means, it is the story behind the meaning that is captivating. It is one of beauty and rescue. It is a story that reminds us there is still hope in our world, and there is still hope for our world. It is a story that begins with a people in need of rescue, but ends with heaven itself coming to earth…
We hope you enjoy these prints. They were photos taken locally by one of the artists at Red Door. They are all 6x6 and easy to frame. May these prints be a sign of beauty within your home and a reminder that there is a story of rescue.
